I believe that is called "marketing"

As opposed to ever noticing a difference while driving or passing smog
inspections or keeping track of fuel economy.
Also remember there are people out there running "unintended
acceleration" fueling and exhaust systems, logging their runtime data
and fine tuning their cars performance, using so-called "generic" O2
sensors.
And even on ancient abused pieces beaters/daily drivers like my coupe,
so little is "as the factory intended," including the fuel economy...
Oh how I miss Mt Washington. For some weird reason, both my coupe and
my 90Q recorded their best ever fuel economy on that trip. That's 100
miles up into the mountains, screaming in third at 90 mph (with the
coupe) on the final 20 miles, driving very "un-economically," and back
later that day with a sunburn.
Why?! Is it because it is (was) "Audi day" Huh? I want answers!
