Well, in the uk it is slightly different, cgt-132 bhp, 90q-136bhp and
80-115bhp, but it still seems quicker, maybe it is just a better torque to
weight ratio.....

Yup. My coupe WE engine was 100 HP. the 2.2 liter jobs were 110 for
the coupe and 115 for the 4kq (better exhaust manifold). The 1985 4 cyl
corresponding to that 110/115? Friggin' 100 hp. Unfair... the 20 valve
n/a engine should have come out in 1985, and built for 10 years.
