1998 A6 braking shudder.

Hmm ... Ok, so the rotors are prime suspects. I will have that
checked. Any thoughts on ATE Power Disks or Zimmermann cross driller
rotors, in case I do decide to do it myself?
One more problem that I couldn't think of last night. My low pad light
comes on once in a while, and stays until I give the pads a good
workout (some hard stopping). Then it goes away. What in the world is
THAT? Just brake dirt on the contacts? A known problem?
Thanks again, I am glad to have found this list! I have been looking
for a good technical Audi list, but it appears that most message boards
on the internet are about mods, rims, and lowering. Not that there is
anything wrong with that, just not my bag.
