Great thought, but I'll bet the 80/90 weighs closer to 3000 lbs.
Each model seems to have gotten heavier.
87 4000QS ~2750lbs
(The anderson brothers sold a 5TQS stripped and race ready for ~2700 lbs.
80/90 ?
A4 ~3200
new '03 A4 1.8 turbo avant W/ tiptronic ~3750.
