A/C stopped working CGT - need advice

When the compressor kicks in, how long does it stay one (duty cycle)? Also, look at the site glass on the reciever/dryer...bubbles = low on freon. Now under your dash is the drain try, pull it down and feel the evaporator...is it cold? After a few minutes, does your radiator fan kick into high (triggered by the high pressure switch)? Having the ansers to these questions will help us determine wher the fault is...
