A rear wheel bearing for my 96 A4 quattro costs $76 at Kaman (industrial
supply house), $68 from German Parts & Restoration, $120 from Advance Auto and
$150 from another local auto parts store. It pays to check around.
The Timken database is helpful for the "checking around."

>Timken is major bearing manufacturer. You cannot purchase from the website. You should be able to purchase their bearings from Motion Industries, Kaman or another industrial supplier.
... or Autozone, or NAPA, or almost any other good auto parts store.
