FYI - my period of Type 44 withdrawl is at an end.

I am now the proud owner of WAUZZZ44ZLN016160 - a 1990 Audi 100 turbo FWD.

It has 268k miles on the clock and is just about perfect - someone has spent a LOT of money on
this car. The WOT switch and the Michelin man hose were knackered - fixing them brought it
back from about 140 bhp to the nominal 165 bhp.  An SJM ECU and an appropriate spring have
brought it up to 1.8 bar absolute, which is downright dangerous in first and second gear.  It
runs like a Swiss watch.
