Wheel cleaner?

Hi all,

Recently, on one of the lists, someone recommended a wheel cleaning product
for removing tough stains. Unfortunately, I can't find the reference,
manually or with the search engine at Audifans.

I do remember that it was a non-traditional, i.e. non-automotive product, a
specialty stain remover or something, and was very complimentary about it.
Maybe it was "Goof Off"?

Any pointers would be most appreciated.
