mph needle removal help

Hello-
Does anybody know how to remove the needles from the mph, rpm, oil pressure,
oil temp and volt gauges?
I have a set of white gauge backgrounds and I want to install them, but
removal of those needles are tricky and I rather not break them. Any help
would be very appreciated!
The car is a 1990 200TQ.
