The 165R14 is equivalent to today's 165/80R14 size spec. Plugging that
into the trusty tire size calculator program gives the following close
matches based on maintaining speedometer accuracy:
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
165/80-14 5.2in 12.2in 24.4in 76.6in 827 0.0%
175/75-14 5.2in 12.2in 24.3in 76.4in 829 -0.2%
185/70-14 5.1in 12.1in 24.2in 76.0in 834 -0.8%
205/65-14 5.2in 12.2in 24.5in 76.9in 823 0.4%
215/60-14 5.1in 12.1in 24.2in 75.9in 835 -1.0%
Of course whether your wheel width would support the wider sizes is
in question and whether they actually fit without rubbing something.
But these are some sizes to work from. HTH.
