Three cheers for Huw!!

In all the poking and prodding I've done on the door switch, not to mention
all the pulled wires and "where the he!! does that wire go?" at the relay
panel, I've never seen that second wire sitting way back and down after it
fell off the switch on the door post. The wires have wide lugs on them, the
switch has narrow connectors, so the wires aren't staying as snug as they
probably should. I'll correct that next time the car is not out in the
rain/snow.

Anyhow, binger bings, door handles still open the doors, maybe this good
action will help repair something else on the long list of little things
that no longer work with that car.

Sorry about the bad subject line earlier, just wanted to get this on the
list while the subject was hot..

the switch in the driver's door jamb should have two separate striped
brown wires that get grounded (to the body of the switch screwed to the
body of the car) when the door is open (switch post "out"). Maybe one
of yours is bad or disconnected.
