Bad center bearing? Rear end viberation.

1990 CQ 191k miles I think that the center bearing or U joints are bad. How
do you tell? There has always been a clunk from the drive shaft. Now at low
speeds(<15 mph when the clutch is depressed(at all times when cold single
digits) there is a bad vibration from the back end of the car. Warmed up the
other day(30's) and it mostly went away. I have checked the CV joints and
any play in the suspension with the car jacked up. I also rotated the
tires. How much should you be able to move the drive shaft center bearing
from side to side and up and down. It is a metal shaft. It is marked for
orientation so it has been out at some time in it's life but I don't know
when. Is the drive shaft from a V6 the same? I might have access to one.
If any one has a CQ shaft with good U's and Center let me know off list with
the asking price.

Snowing hard!
