UrQ Strust mounts on a CGT - front only?

Well, I took the CGT in for an allignment today and was told that it couldn't be accuratly alligned because my left front strut mount is dead. It's only a little over a year old (OEM from BLAU). Is this normal? Do they usually fail so frequently?

Anyway, from what I've read here, I amy be better off using UrQ strut mounts. They are a tad shorter, right? How much? Is there any reason I can't have UrQ mounts only on the front? I figure that would slightly drop the front, for a more agressive look. Also, a few weeks ago there was some debate on whether the newest IrQ mounts were still blue. What is the consenus on this? And one last question, what the proper part number for the new UrQ front strut mounts?
