Problem with brakes, need some help.

Robert,
my bomb is DEAD as I mentioned. What I don't know is that would bad
bomb cause soft brakes, like a little air is left in the system. But I
used pressure bleeder and did thoroughly.
It just came to me that I should've check proportioning valve when I
noticed that rears are not working. But it is most misterious part in
the car. I took one apart (from another car) and could not figure out
how it works. I am not sure what to check as besides frozen arm.
Another question: can the air in the system cause working fronts and
not working rears? I see it only if some certain conditions occur in
proportioning valve. It is theory. The question is: anybody saw it in
real life?
