'86 4kq diff locks/Propshaft

  Front actuator is behind a shield right behind the passenger halfshaft;
easiest way to spot it is to look for paired hoses to the bellhousing in
front of the firewall, passenger side of car.

  The actuator won't be hurt by driving with diffs locked on the dry, but
other stuff might.

  Dunno where the switches are; on both of my cars the problem was leaky
actuators and/or cracked old hoses. Verify light function by moving the
actuator rods by hand- rear is on the drivers side of the pumpkin, front is
at the rear of the tail housing, up on top. Both should move pretty easy,
on my '86 the rear was stiff but the front was very free. Working the stiff
one a bunch of cycles by hand freed it up enough to function.

hth,
Robert
