I tried dropping in about 1 quart of ATF in my engine (NA I5) and
drove with it for a while. The engine had a lot of sludge.. It
actually made no noticeable difference. The engine has still got some
sludge, does not use any oil at all and I run 5W-50 synthetic.. :-)

Guess the old I5 is a lot better than the V6!
