Rear main seal/flange removal

I pulled the flywheel today to replace the rear main seal. I bought
the whole thing with flange from the dealer. But I don't know how to
remove it.. I have removed all the bolts (including two oil pan
bolts), I can pry it about 3 mm out on the top, so it's not completely
stuck, but almost..  Any good tips here? Do I have to drop the oil
pan? I hope not..

In addition, I will replace the pilot bearing. Is the grease method
something that can be used, or should I bite it and buy a puller that
I'll never use anymore? :-)
