Well looks like I've sold the "parts" car so I'm still plying the other.  T=
o sweeten the deal I went ahead and put the BBS wheels with excellent Khumo=
 rubber (75-80% left) on the pearl white car.  So to recap the car:

'89 Pearl White 200 quattro, early build car with with single knock sensor =
engine.  108k miles.  Black (graphite) leather interior is pretty much mint=
 for age showing only some wear on armrest and minor wear on drivers seat i=
tself, other seats are perfect, ski sack never used, door panels and headli=
ner nice.  All power stuff works excepting the passenger front window, whic=
h I will probably look into this afternoon, and the seat heaters work spora=
dicly (in the controls the heaters work fine if you hotwire them to a suppl=
y=2E)  Sunroof, other windows, cruise, A/C, seat adjusters, lights, instrum=
ents, all work well.  Cheesey Koss CD player works fine but skips easily.  =
Engine runs strong, boosts to 1.7-1.8 bar with IA ECU (not included) or 1.2=
-1.3 bar with stock ECU, good oil pressure, turns in 22mpg in mixed driving=
.  No odd tranny/driveline noises, rear diff lock works correctly.  ABS fun=
ctions smoothly (remarkably smoothly compared to other systems I've driven.=
)  Exterior is worst part of this car, mostly just in the hood clearcoat, 3=
 2-3" wide by 12-15" long swatches of missing clearcoat.  I think just the =
clear layer not the pearlescent layer, one could carefully featheredge the =
clear using a guide coat to not sand into the pearl then re-clear the hood =
and I think it would come out well enough (what I intended to do.)  Otherwi=
se paint is nice excepting normal front rock chips and car is mostly dent a=
nd ding free with exception of some touch up sprayed on A-pillars for rock =
chips before windshield was installed.

With the new tires and BBS rims, still just looking for $2500 obo.  The 4 E=
ibach springs and new Boge Turbo Gas front struts still available for anoth=
er $325 with the car as well.  The IA ECU is probably spoken for.

Come on someone must want a winter beater.  I need to get offroading parts =
for my new syncro Vanagon 8-)
