go with the lifetime warranty !! the check valve just bolts into the pump e=
nd, but can be very tricky to get off !! and you may end up breaking some o=
f the lines trying to get it off, but the same can happen changing the pump=
also !! and the new fuel pump may fix other problems !!

On my 82 Coupe it is hard to start when it has been sitting for more than 30
minutes.
After testing ,checking, and replacing lots of items it still does it.
I am told this is due to a bad fuel pump check valve. I can get one for $25,
but the question becomes how do you replace it? Looking at a new fuel pump I
don't see how to remove the check valve.
On the other hand I can just get a whole new pump for $135 w/ a lifetime
warranty.....what sounds wisest? It is awfully embarassing to have a car
that cranks for 10 seconds before it starts.
