Audi in Paris-Dakkar?

Zsolt Hi,

AFAIK AUDI themselves have not participated in the Paris-Dakkar.

Only connection I know of is with PORSCHE winning it in the 80's with a 959
based vehicle (first true high performance true racer to participate and
win) and then VW this year.

On the other hand maybe a private would have participated with an Iltis or a
VW syncro van but I can be sure about it.
