4kq bulb life

As another data point:  I have the H4 euros (standard
bulb wattage)in my 4kq, wired with relays directly to
the alternator post.  I have been running for 2+ years
on the same bulbs.  Voltage at battery is around 13.8
when car is running.  So in my experience wiring the
headlight relays to the alternator directly has not
caused any bulb life issues.
