Radiator Temp Sensor

Well, I thought the metal-to-metal contact between the sensor and the old tank was part of
what helped it determine the temperature it was measuring.

But since there's not much that can be done about that, I was thinking that perhaps a
rubber gasket or o-ring could be sourced from the local hardware store.  That way it should
definitely seal with stripping out the threads.

I guess the sensor doesn't ground through the threads then, if they are plastic and the
sensor still works?
