RELIABLE!?!?!?!?!  My friend's AWD Chebby Astro (S-10 chassis and running
gear, mini-van body) is a pig. It IS a 2.8, but that's not the problem.
Everything
else is. Something is ALWAYS going wrong on the thing, (admittedly more
things
to go wrong on a van, more body hardware, electrics etc.)but he still
needs if for
his largish family. The 100CSQA can only hold 7, and that's if 2 are
under 40 lbs.
None of his are.....

I've also heard (no BTDT) that Ranger's aren't much better until QUITE
recently,
though they've consistantly been better than S10s.

Of course, if your 80 is just as unreliable, (well maintained ones
shouldn't be),
then the cost of upkeep on either of the trucks (parts at least) should
be notably
less than the Audi.
