rear end clunking/exhaust leaks - 80Q

I solved my clunking over the weekend. I've had the car for about three years now, and it's bugged me the whole time. Turned out to be a bad subframe bushing. I took some bad advice and didn't replace them when I did my most recent suspension rebuild.
One of the bushings was worn enough that there was a gap between the rubber and the center sleeve. I took a washer that was 2" dia with a 3/4" hole in the middle, and put it under the washers that were on each of the bushings. That way, the hole in the washer fits nicely over the center sleeve of the bushing, and can squish it nice and tight.
Clunking is gone, and the car feels better.
Also put the refinished 15" cabriolet wheels on it, with RE730's. Sticks like glue now.
Good Luck!
