Hi,

I used "cheap" stuff in my 4000q and 944 with no problems. My 4000csq had 2=
50k on it when I sold it, it was still running pretty well. The 944 had 150=
k on it when I sold it, I never had to take the head off but I replaced the=
 waterpump every other time I did the timing belt and I replaced the radiat=
or once.
I forget what brand I was using but I only looked  for it to be safe for al=
uminum engines.
