nice idea... but I'd feel a bit hard done by if I was young and dad was rich..!
But I'd have trouble imagining a snotty nosed kid saying: "oh, but dad, I don't want an RS2, I want
the Ur"...!!

I think it's beyond my means at this point, but I'm in there to pick up some parts this weekend,

yup, I agree... I'm thinking about picking up a 200T (one for sale for $1800) for an engine swap
into my CQ (non turbo)...
something nice about owning a car that can't depreciate more than $3k (~$1500 USD)
