'91 CQ (2.3 NG) - servo vacuum pump inop. - likely effect?

I've had the head gasket replaced on my coupe but the rod which operates the
servo vacuum pump from the camshaft seems to have disappeared somewhere down
the line. If possible I need to use the car for a couple of days before I
can get a replacement rod. Am I likely to notice a big difference if the
pump isn't working?
