Here is the info on bomb recharging, copied below.

  My opinion is that it isn't worth taking a chance installing an old bomb
off a parts car unless you know the history of the parts car bomb and
>know< that it's good.  This is due to the time/effort involved, the risk
that the replacement will be no good, the cost of Pentosin you will waste
if you have to re-do the job, the chances of contaminating your system with
crud out of the old bomb, and the available bargain cost of having one
recharged.

I do not have personal experience with a recharged bomb because I have not
needed one since Russ began offering the service.
