Actually, won't a blow-off valve cause the car to stall with CIS?
CIS cars really don't like any unmetered air, it really messes them
up, at least that is my experience w/ 4k and 5k Audis.
Go to a speed density EFI system and you can run a blow-off valve,
although they sound a bit silly.

Don't use a blow-off valve if you are keeping CIS - if you really want
the sound - then get one of those underhood "Woosh" speakers that the
guys with the lighted windshield washer squirters have ;-) The air that
a BOV vents is metered air - which would result in an over-rich mixture
when shifting. A Bypass Valve is a better way to go - keeps the metered
air in the system. Pretty easy to install in the 5ktq's. Cheers! Steve
