On mine it went on alone, and made a huge difference.  I expected it
would just be a "show" item, but could feel the difference just turning
around going backwards in the parking lot.  Tightened and flattened the
front end radically, very nice.

But - this may be due to aging of the car and developed flexibility in
the strut tower to body interface.  No way of knowing without trying one
on a "new" coupe.  It might simply be something the car needs, though.
