Thanks for your ideas. Based on the other ideas coming in, it seems
like most are voting for oil in the cylinder as well, and later in the
day we found oil leaking out of the joint between the wastegate and the
exhaust header, so I've got it on the exhaust side. I wouldn't be
surprised if the turbo oil seal failed and let it in the intake side.

Since the car actually runs, I don't think that the oil leak came from
catostrophic problems in the block or head (except that the crankcase
ventilation port has nothing coming out - something's in there clogging
it up).
