Do not change coolant ever?!??

Folks,

I was paging through the manual for my newly acquired 1994 Audi 90S. In the
section describing the various fluids in the engine compartment, it is
mentioned that the coolant never needs to be changed. That sounds a bit
weird to me. I always thought coolant should be replaced (along with the
thermostat) every other year. The coolant is the regular green stuff - not
the long-life orange stuff.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

	Tom
