Toluene write up

Interesting experiment.

What octane gas were you using when you are getting "20 ish" mpg?

What modification do you have on the 87 5k?

What kind of mileage do you get on 87 octane gas? 89 octane gas?

Where did you get the toluene?

I put your numbers in a spreadsheet . . .could use more numbers though . .
.I used 20.5 mpg for your "20 ish" number . . .

Assuming 93 octane at $1.50 . .and 94 octane at $1.60 . . .and toluene at
$6.00 per gallon, the following costs can be obtained:

93 octane, no toluene ..........0.073171 cents per mile
93 octane, 5% toluene ........0.072115 cents per mile
94 octane, 10% toluene.........0.086041 cents per mile

But, to get valid numbers, we would need many more measurements. I would
think 5 measurements for each experiment that were checked for variance, and
then averaged would give us good data.
