Hate to go back to the 300ZX as an example, but I how I knew my back shock
was blown was the spring started bottoming out when I nailed the throttle
and on left corners. Replaced the rear shocks (stockers are gas charged, I
used KYB Gas-a-Justs all the way round,) and I not only stopped bottoming
out, but the rear of my car raised about an inch, and it took care of the
rest of the rear camber problem I was having (new rear subframe bushings
and an alignment took care of the rest.)
