Which brake light? If it's the red "Brake" light, it's probably the
e-brake switch. If it is the e-brake, you can usually make it go out by
giving the handle a couple of good whacks when it's in the down position.
If it's the pad light, usually orange and part of the dash display, try
jumping the connectors at each pad to see if it goes out, could be a
break in the wire or a defective brake wear sensor.
