Hi, this is Travis from Augusta here. Has anyone heard from Mike at Casting
Fool lately? I tried to call him today, and I got a recording that his phone
line was being checked for problems. I noticed he hasn't posted anything
lately, so I'm just curious if he has had any contact with anyone.
I was supposed to go and do a test fit on the backing piece on the car and
got called in to work, so I didn't make that appt. Anyhoo, thanks in
advance.
Hi Travis,
I was a bit late getting to BellSouth today, and they flipped the switch
before I got the payment in. They turned it back on a few hours later.
The molds for creating the pieces that will become the masters are done, and
I'd intended to cast a set for you to test fit to make sure that the repairs
that I made were accurate. I'll have the (opaque) test set ready for you by
Saturday.
I did a dumb-dumb last month and suddenly realized that I'd tied up a lot of
revenue in several jobs (including the lenses) that had delayed pay-offs and
had to do some quick make-a-buck work to get some food on the table (feeding
a teenager is a lost cause...), pay Ma Bell and to sincerely convince
ComCast that I really need that cable modem.
I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner about the test set. Saturday
should be the day.
And, because I need some serious feedback on the production lenses, I'll be
offering a limited time period where all customers' seriously damaged (for
_any_ reason) lens sets can be returned for a new set. After that period,
sets can be returned for replacement if they suffer a defect failure.
