brought an s8 home today, wow !!! (Car totaled)

I thought so until a limb fell on top of my wife's Passat. The total bill
$9,102.00, but the f.... company did not total it. I just sold the car for
$10,800!!!

Not counting the 3 months without the car.

Needless to say that I was furious when I read the final bill. The first check
from the adjuster was $5K, so I didn't care about the complement the body shop
asked the company (my fault here, I should have checked). Honestly, in my case
I think the body shop and the adjuster have a "close" relationship.

I'm even considering taking the insurance co. to the small claims.

At least the new owner has a mechanically perfect car with a new high quality
paint job.
