shop experiences

Well, top this:
I lost a 944 Porsche to a test drive by a shop mech (fired since) to check
the sloppy rear wheel bearings replaced by the same shop a few months
earlier. The idiot drove at an estimated 150 km/h approaching a school
zone (30 km/h) and almost dodged a logging truck, turning left. He hit
frontally the last set of wheels on the trailer totalling my car. The SOB
was lucky to live without seat belt on and is still around despite bulging
the windshield with his dumb head. Even didn't take more than 3-4 days at
the hospital to heal the bugger. On the brighter side he's no longer an
aspiring car racer and the shop settled it very well. The local paper had
a field day putting an oversize picture stating: 'Porsche vs. Logging
truck, Porsche loses' or some garbage like that. It should be pretty clear
by now what I think about these test drives.

Greetings,
Tihol
