On these same pages not long ago the existence of some informative web
sites was mentioned.  It seems to me that a good job of indexing the
content on them and linking to them would make a lot of sense.

I know that some of the files on my site were created to avoid answering
the same question for the third time, so they certainly meet the "F"
part of "FAQ."  Other files, of course, are best left to malinger in
dark alleys off little used streets in poor repair.
