Handbrake turns

Hi all,

One of the things I loved about my old 1986 100 Quattro Avant (normally
aspirated) was hurling it round a private field and performing massive
power slides with all the seats filled with excited passengers - including
the 2 rear facing seats in the boot. Liberal use of the handbrake helped
with the unsettling of the car to get the slide started.

Now I have a 1989 200 Quattro Avant Turbo which has a Torsen centre diff.
Does this mean that I cannot perform handbrake turns anymore? Yanking on
the handbrake now will presumably lock up, or at least severely slow down,
the front wheels too and may cause damage to the centre diff. Does anyone
have any handy insights into how I may continue my hooligan tendencies?

Cheers, Mike.
