Early B3 Airbag Sensor "Campaign"

I just had the original airbag sensor(s) replaced by a local dealer under
Audi's campaign.  Now the [AIRBAG] light in the self-check system stays on
for a few minutes, maybe two minutes, after starting the car.

The dealer said three sensor were replaced by one sensor, and "That's why it
takes the auto-check system so long to figure out that everything's okay."

Has anyone similar experience "post-campaign?"
