(NAC) glad I don't have one of *those* cars

BTDT with my friend. Dad accidentally locked his son (my bud) in his
525i. BMWs (some) have this secure-lock function where if you go another
notch on the key (or double turn it, I forget), the doors cannot be
unlocked from the *inside*. Who the heck needs this?

Anyway, it was a black 525i, parked in a big cement lot, August summer
in Iowa. You get the idea. 95 deg F by 11AM. He was locked in from about
7:30 until after lunch, when his dad came looking for him. My bud had
stripped down to his boxers to stay cool, putting up clothes in the
windows to block the sun. He tried to kick out the windows, but couldn't
do it. Strong car!

Scary.
