iDrive traps Thai minister in BMW

Nope, this has been a BMW "quirk" for quite some time now.  My friends
shop has had at least 6 BMW (BreakMyWindow's) in his shop for this since
they came out with this ingenious design years ago.  The scenario can
occur for many reasons, including battery failure, actuator failure,
lock linkage binding and a few other scenarios.  He once got locked
inside a customers car himself while working on a completely unrelated
item, he pulled the door latch at the same time his assistant turned the
trunk lock, completely confused the BMW (Breaks in Mysterious Ways.)
