Drove the new A8 today

Hi all,

Had the opportunity to spend some time behind the wheel of the new A8
today. It was a 3.7q, the 'base' model. What an incredible chassis, what a
superb engine. I even liked the Tip 'box, a perfect companion for the 3.7.
The MMI is really easy to use, nav is excellent and TV reception is great.
The Bose surround is also pretty good, after tweaking the settings slightly
it sounded very good indeed.
The price of the car I drove, with lots of options, was EUR 118,650. About
what you'd pay for a nice starter home. Guess I won't be ordering one
anytime soon... :-)
