FINAL: 95.5 S6 wont start due to a bad ECU

... I found that there was a "brute force" regulator/protector on the
incoming power lines of the MAC-02 which had shorted out due to a voltage
rgulator failure ... we found a replacement zener and tried it out ... the
ECU was back in the pink.  My modus operandi is ... hey, if the thing is a
doorstop anyway I'm not going to make things worse by trying to fix it!
Open it up and see if you can't reverse engineer the incoming power
circuitry ...

As to repair ... I don't know how many "tuners" go deep enough into things
to really be able to help.  I do know that Ned Ritchie has helped his
customers with that sort of thing ... perhaps he can fix your ECU when he
upgrades it ... no BTDT from me though ...
