I think to achieve what you are looking for, you ought to be looking to
upgrade your *front* brakes, not the rears. The rears really contribute
very little to the overall braking performance. Having vented discs
on the rear would improve their ability to resist fade, but that only
comes into play with severe and repeated braking. In an emergency
"one-time" collision avoidance situation I don't think brake fade would
be an issue.
