Tough times

This really surprises me. In my neck of the woods a good, competent
mechanic who is also cooperative is rarer than hens' teeth. In fact a
qualified mechanic is worth as much as a computer programmer! So much
for my parents advice to get an education and a white collar job!

Maybe the problem is location not the economy?
