struts, new rotors, lines, calipers, pads, etc. You get a lot more unsprung weight
for that improvement in braking.
I'm now thinking of getting the BIRA system 1 as the G60s don't hold up under heavy
braking, nor do they give enough braking for my tastes.
Then again, I'm halfway through my Mintex red box pads after only 4 months. :-O

<P> As soon as I can score some used 944t front pads. (Small 4-pots, also on the front of some early 911 Turbo's (80s era) and the front of 968's and the rear of the 993's. ANd I need a 5ktq Front Rotor. I need old stuff that is trashed just to get everything fit up and I am pretty sure my 944t calipers will work for the 5kt and other cars with that bolt spacing. But a different offset rotor may change that if it changes the center of the rotor in relation to the caliper mounting tangs.</P>
