It should have come with its own sensor, are you sure it was not left
out? We use these at New Dimensions with very good results.

It came with a GM style sensor but they are offered with a Bosch sensor
also. I got mine pre-owned, which is why I have the wrong sensor. The fitting
doesn't fit the block.

Where can I find info about J&S products? There is a product
called J&S Safeguard, that is part of a Powerdyne supercharger kit
for Saturns that is being developed. Other than that part, listed
with the kit components, I hadn't heard of them.
Since they have an email address, do they have a webpage?

The Safeguard is the same thing. They do have a website but I'll be damned
if I can find it now even using 8 search engines!! It's not a simple
address either.

I don't understand, Dwight. If you've swapped a 2.3 engine in, it has a
oem knock sensor mounted low on the left hand side of the block. The stock
NF/NG ecu will retard the ignition on a per cylinder basis as required to
minimize knock and light the check engine light if it max's out.

Well, my engine DID have a knock sensor but someone cut it off before I
got it.
And that doesn't work if you're not using the NG/NF ignition/injection
system (which I'm not; too much work).

So the question remains...can I just adapt the GM sensor OR do I need
to somehow splice in a Bosch sensor?
Maybe I can find time to call J&S tomorrow...
