once, basically you set it up so that as a pulse is leaving the mfld and
creating a low pressure zone behind it, this helps draw out the exhaust
from the next cylinder as its valve opens. This can only really be
optimised for one rpm or narrow rpm range though. And obviously it gets
weird with 5 cylinders.

The 5 cylinder 4000 Q (84-87) has a very nice 5-3-1 setup, it should be
all you need to start building a nice shiny custom exhaust system. It
gets a bit narrower near the end of the DP, this may be useful or maybe
it should be cut off...
There is a big fancy set of headers floating aorund out there , Mike
Tipton used to own them, Now I think Carter Johnson does. At least one
of those guys put some photos of them on a web site once.
